CHAPTER V CONCLUSIONS AND SUGGESTIONS

A. Conclusions
After had analyzed the data, simply the writer makes the conclusion as follows: 1. The mean score of teaching descriptive text by using community language learning at the VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Batangonang is categorized Good. It can be seen from the average score of 73.82. 2. The mean score of teaching descriptive text by using cooperative learning at the VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Batangonang is categorized Good. It can be seen from the average score of 64.26. 3. There is a significant comparison between community language learning and cooperative learning in teaching descriptive text at the VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Batangonang. 4. The calculation of t-test is higher than the value of t-table (tcount 3.24 > ttable 1.669). It means that there is comparison between community language learning and cooperative learning in teaching descriptive text. So, the hypothesis of this research is accepted.

B. Implication of the Research

Considering that the result of the research is necessary to see whether there any significant comparison of using community language learning and cooperative learning in teaching descriptive text, so the writer in this case takes 57 some implications of both variables. Implication is writers way in finding the solution of the problems in the research by offering a good ways to the reader. In this case, the good way to teach descriptive text by using community language learning is that the teacher should choose one from several kinds of community language learning that is appropriate to the students and materials will be presented. In order to take the result is better, the teacher should make lesson plan in which to arrange time, materials and indicators will be reach. While the way to teach descriptive text by using cooperative learning is that the teacher exposes the students with the material oral as well as verbally.

C. Suggestions
Based on the conclusions and the implications of the research above, the writer gives some suggestions as follows:
1. As an input for the head master in guiding the English teachers of SMP

Negeri 1 Batangonang and study can help and improve the quality of teaching and learning process.
2. The writer hopes that this script can help people who are interest, in this

field in order come to solve problems.

3. As an information for the English teacher in teaching descriptive text by

using community language learning and cooperative learning.
