STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM


To determine the dependency between type of stream and colleges.

DEFINING THE PROBLEM


We have taken the population of three different colleges student and find out the dependency of the stream on colleges or not. First college is GHS-IMR first college is GHS-IMR we also collect the information of student of 1st year the number of student is 102. And ask their stream in graudation.

Streams BCOM BSC BBA BCA OTHERS

Number of students 43 16 29 16 8

Second college is MPEC second college is MPEC we also collect the information of student of 1st year the number of student is 54. And ask their stream in graduation.

Streams BCOM BSC BBA BCA OTHERS Third college is MPIS

Number of students 16 8 14 7 3

Third college is MPEC we also collect the information of student of 1st year the number of student is 50. And ask their stream in graduation. Streams BCOM BSC BBA BCA OTHERS Number of students 12 7 17 4 9

POPULATION FRAME
We have taken the all the students which are studied in 1st year in three different colleges which are GHS-IMR, MPEC & MPIS. In this data we not consider those student who had left the college for some reason

SAMPLING TECHNIQUE
Convenient sampling technique was adopted at the time of the collection of the data of GHS-IMR because we can take any student of the 1ST year and ask his /her stream in the graduation. But in other two colleges we have collected the data from their office.

DATA MEASUREMENT
Data is ratio level data. It shows the number of students of in different streams.

Conclusion
Through CHI SQUARE TEST OF INDEPENDENCE

we came to draw a conclusion that the students of colleges does not think about a MBA college while they take a admission in a any MBA colleges. They think that the all colleges are same.

Z Test for Two Population Proportion


Defining the Problem A student want to conduct a survey to compare the results of two colleges student while they choose the MBA college of different stream students.

Survey was conducted on three colleges. survey was conducted using 102 students of GHS-IMR 48 students of MPEC and 49 student of MPIS.

There are only 43 students of GHS-IMR 16 students of MPEC and 12 student of MPIS. Which came the commerce stream(B.com)Student wants to test whether there is any significant difference.
First college is GHS-IMR first college is GHS-IMR we also collect the information of student of 1st year the number of student is 102. And ask their stream in graudation.

Conclusion

Through Z-TEST FOR TWO POPULATION PROPORTION we came to draw a conclusion There is no significant difference between two colleges. While they choose the MBA colleges. Student gives the equally important to all colleges.
