1-READ ABOUT MICHAEL JACKSON Michael Joseph Jackson was born on 29 August 1958 in the USA. He was an American artist, singer, dancer and businessman. He was the King of Pop. For the Guinness World Records, Michael was the most successful entertainer of all time. His father, Joe Jackson, was a guitarist and his mother, Katherine, had musical interests. In 1964, Michael was a member of The Jackson 5 with his brothers but in 1971 he started his solo career. His first solo album was Off the wall in 1979. But his second album Thriller, in 1982, was the most successful album of all time. Thriller was the best-selling album and he became an international superstar. The video of the song Thriller was fantastic and one of the first great video of those times. Most of the Michaels albums were successful. He won 13 Grammy Awards, 26 American Music Awards and hundreds of awards around the world. With the years, Michaels behavior became strange. He changed his personal appearance. In Neverland, his house in California, he collected toys and built amusement parks and zoos. After two marriages, he had two children with his second wife.
