Techtile Therm, perfectly integrated into brick roofs, is the new way of thinking about solar thermal system integration. Thanks to its similarities with traditional covering and vacuum tube technology, Techtile Therm offers a combination of absolutely revolutionary features. Techtile Therm is ideal for feeding, through the use of suitable tanks or thermal storage, the domestic hot water circuit and for integrating low temperature heating systems, be it a radiant floor or profile.

Techtile System
Techtile Therm is a Techtile System solution: the new revolutionary system that transforms a roof with its standard passive covering function, into an active technology that contributes to the energy needs of the building. This system makes it easier to lay the roof covering and is designed to give added value to the buildings on which it is installed. With Techtile System it is possible to produce electric and thermal energy, at absolutely no cost, directly from the Sun: the system also makes it possible to obtain different levels of architectural integration, thanks to four system solutions that can be applied to a single type of arrangement or covering. All components are built using high quality materials, selected to offer the highest guarantee, in terms of duration, of resistance against the atmospheric elements and natural deterioration. Techtile is ideal for energy requalification of buildings that are subject to the strict constraints that the Monuments and Fine Arts Service imposes. Techtile Easy, in order to reach the maximum integration with existing roofs, has been developed in a colour range that currently includes 3 colours: brick, brown and sand.

Solar collector
Techtile Therm is equipped with a solar collector consisting of a series of 6 glass tubes with diam. 47mm, length 1,500 mm, double cavity borosilicate, welded at the ends, creating a vacuum inside. The inner cavity is has been made selective for the absorption of electromagnetic solar radiation by means of a multi-layer metallisation called "CERMET," created using completely recyclable products. The absorption unit is made up of a copper, U-curved circuit, positioned in contact with special aluminium heat absorbers that increase the heat transfer surface. Each unit is enclosed in a glass tube and then connected parallel to a distribution collector that collects the vector fluid flowing from each circuit. The copper distribution collector is protected by an electrocoloured aluminium structure, fully insulated with special class 0 (ISO-DIS 1182.2) fireproof, water-repellent and low biopersistent insulation.

Techtile Therm is a system composed of tiles and a solar collector that must be positioned on a roof pre-set with Techtile Basic. Techtile Basic disponibile sia in elementi singoli che preassemblati in pannelli. The "pre-assembled panel" solution allows fast construction of thermal and noise insulated and ventilated covering. Both the roof covering and the energy system base are created at the same time with Techtile Basic.

Techtile Therm Laying

Techtile Therm is laid as a normal brick tile. Laying, which is carried out manually without the aid of any equipment, is easy and quick. Techtile Therm assembly is carried out easily thanks to the "necessary step" determined by the Techtile Basic presetting, which ensures perfect tile alignment, both horizontally and vertically. After the tiles are laid, the solar collector installation and related covering of vacuum tubes with slide protection is carried out. Finally, the collector must be integrated with the use of simple covering to be set up on-site (not included with supply).
