Wellness Program Producer Stanford University Calming Technology Symposium: [in pre-production] a 1-day event to bring together designers, scholars, entrepreneurs, and investors who are building calming technologies. Responsible for vetting the concept, planning logistics, running the event. RFP Live Design: a 3-day technology design competition event for Aetna, Inc. Held in San Francisco, the first two days were for design agencies and the third day was for freelance designers. Responsible for ideating/selling the concept, identifying key stakeholders, forging strategic partnerships, marketing, overseeing event logistics, managing budget, and running the event. Winners earned large cash prizes and contracts with Aetna. Behavior Design Workshop: a 2-day persuasive behavior design workshop for pharmaceutical agency creative directors and account managers in Paramus, NJ. Responsible for selling the concept, designing the program, and facilitating the workshop. Raising Heartrates: [co-founder] a start-up non-profit triathlon organization based in
NYC dedicated to raising money for disabled athletes. Responsible for identifying strategic partners, developing outreach and communications, recruiting members, and planning launch parties. 1998 Seek the Journey Ride for Life: [co-founder] a start-up project including a trans- America (4,532 miles) bicycle ride to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Responsible for developing marketing materials, planning fundraisers, doing community outreach. Raised $18,000 for the ACS; recognized as ACS Volunteer of the Year (national award).
