Achievements
Pat was a member of the Litchfield Bowls Club from 1991. Pat was made a
life member in 2002. As a committee member she was always available when
there was something to be done. Making bowls cloths, teaching School
children, making sausage rolls for Australia Day and any other job that had to
be done, especially jobs that no one else would do like cleaning spiders out of
the kitchen.
Pat was a top bowler and showed no mercy playing to the last end. Playing
with or against her was always a pleasure. She was ladies club champion 3
times, 1997, 2001, 2004, And winner of the ladies championship pairs 7 times
1994, 1995, 1996, 1998, 1999, 2001, 2003. Most of the players who played
with Pat in this event could thank Pat for being a winner in this event. She
enjoyed water aerobics when it wasn’t too cold. On the Thursday she walked
home as she was getting too fat. Someone said how thin as a match stick
meaning she was fit and certainly among us not fat!
Pat was born in GinGin Western Australia and she went to school at
Berrmulla GinGin.
Middle Years
At the age of 18 Pat worked very hard and if she needed 2 jobs then she
would have them. She worked in the theatre, as a seamstress, cleaner, in a
can factory, and dabbled in hairdressing. She loved working on South Molle
Island, as the weather was warm!
Child Years

In the later years Pat lover her bowls, and fishing at the Hut. (Bynoe Harbour
