Contraindication
Ivabradine is a heart rate 5 mg twice daily lowering agent. It acts by selective and specific inhibition of the cardiac pacemaker I current, an important ionic current that usually controls spontaneous diastolic depolarisation in the sinus node and thereby regulates heart rate.
Nursing Responsibility Contraindicated Assess for: on patients with 1. History: Cardiac disease, liver cerebrovascular dysfunction and disease is contraindicated 2. Changes in vision may occur, but usually resolve with continued treatment.
