INDIAN HEALTH ECONOMICS AND POLICY ASSOCIATION (IHEPA)

BETTER HEALTH ACCESS THE ROUGH ROAD AHEAD
CONFERENCE DETAILS
IHEPA strongly recommends the paper presenters to seek travel funds from other sources or from organisations to which they are affiliated to. However, for those who do not have access to such funding, economical train fares within India would be reimbursed on an actual basis. IHEPA is in the process of mobilising resources to meet the expenses of travel and stay for the paper presenters. Efforts will be made to provide accommodation to the paper presenters at ISEC or nearby institutions on a first-come-first serve basis. Since the number of rooms available is limited, it may not be possible to accommodate everyone. IHEPA recommends that paper presenters also explore lodging options independently. About Conference Venue Institute for Social and Economic Change (ISEC) is an All India Institute for Interdisciplinary Research and Training in Social Sciences. It was established in 1972 by late Professor VKRV Rao to create a blend of field-oriented empirical research and advances in social science theories leading to better public policy formulation. ISEC is located in a serene atmosphere congenial to foster research. ABOUT IHEPA
Indian Health Economics and Policy Association (IHEPA) is a professional body registered under the Societies Registration Act in October 2010. The need to have a formal body which would serve as a platform for discussing and sharing intellectual ideas pertaining to the Indian health sector was strongly felt by a group of like-minded health economists and policy experts. Over a period of four years, this group discussed, met and exchanged ideas towards the formation of an Association. The IHEPA is the culmination of this process, and has been created to enable economists and other social science researchers, policymakers and practitioners to exchange, deliberate and discuss key issues and strategies in the health sector, in India as well as globally. Organizational Setup Governing Council (GC), constituted by the General Body of the Association, manages the functioning of IHEPA.
