By consenting to work with Children this summer, you have committed yourself to giving them the tools they need to succeed in life as sold-out Christians who are ready to face the challenges life brings with the knowledge that God through Jesus Christ and the aid of the Holy Spirit will guide them. There will be joys and challenges on this journey, and together as a team, we will make a memorable summer for the children and ourselves. This guide is designed to get you started as a Teacher/Coach. In it you will find what you can expect, as well as what is expected of you. It is not designed to be exhaustive, but will give you the tools to help you understand the purpose and process of Imagine...ME! Summer Day Camp. Again welcome, thank you, and I look forward to a great summer! Sincerely,
Our Goal
Our goal is to teach children how to live an abundant life in Gods image. We do this by engaging children in play with a purpose, study and exploration.

What is Harambee?
Harambee is a Kenyan tradition of community self-help events, eg. fundraising or development activities. Harambee literally means "all pull together" in Swahili, and is also the official motto of Kenya and appears on its coat of arms. Harambee events may range from informal affairs lasting a few hours, in which invitations are spread by word of mouth, to formal, multi-day events advertised in newspapers. These events have long been important in parts of East Africa, as ways to build and maintain communities. At ImagineME!, Harambee is used to build community and selfesteem by starting the day off praising God together through cheers and song and dance, and to make any important announcements for the day. All teachers are expected to participate in Harambee to model positive ways to build community and praise God.
