Sample instructional design deliverable

Using the unit topics, objectives, and potential activities provided in the Statement of Work, develop a more comprehensive design document for each unit, with the categories shown in the example below. A couple of considerations: There are four units and an estimated 40 total hours of training time. Each unit will be roughly 10 hours of training time, but that may vary somewhat between units. Divide the objectives for each unit into logical groupings to form sessions. There will not be a one-to-one ratio of number of sessions to number of objectives. Keep session times to approximately two hours each. Include any field work in the duration of a session. Homework assignments, if any, do not need to be counted in the duration of sessions.

Working in small groups, participants will develop five specific interview questions for their desired job. In role plays, participants will demonstrate how to conduct an interview in a culturally appropriate manner. Informational Interviewing (2) In pairs, participants will conduct at least one informational interview with someone in their desired career field. Following interviews, participants will describe at least one lesson learned from the interviews, and at least one strategy for learning more about their ideal career. Evaluating/ analyzing potential jobs Based on their information interviews and their skills assessments, participants will identify at least three assets, reasons, or forces in their favor, which show that their ideal job could be realistic for them Based on their information interviews and their skills assessments, participants will identify at least three barriers to their ideal jobs.
