Powers and Abilities: Obsidian got dusted with some very interesting nanotech as a child. He manifests powers by absorbing matter and then doing whatever it is that needs to be done. To almost everyone he just looks like another sorceror. Only the REALLY sharp observers really see what is happening. So far no one can duplicate his power, but that might be a blessing as Obsidians found out you can damn near kill him with 2 bits in Lone Star or the FSA for that matter.

History:
Darius was and still is your run of the mill bright high school student. Neither the nest of the worst his home life could have been best described as plebian. Until the day father and son went on a camping trip in the Montana Rockies. Yet another UFO crash landed streaking up out of Nevada/Utah restricted airspace. This time though, the USAF had gotten a piece of it as it trespassed. So the cannibal nanotech needed materials to rebuild the ship and it needed them in a hurry. Enter Darius out on a midnight stroll. So our intrepid son of Earth got caught up in the repair function of the ship and torn to pieces and then rebuilt as the new and improved Darius (with silver freaking hair). I guess even aliens have a conscience at times. Darius was found the next morning at the edge of a 400 meter crater (they ate a LOT of rock). His dad took one look at his hair, the devastation and high tailed it way the hell out of there. Since then his father suspect SOMETHING happened but still has no idea what. Darius learned fast shut up about powers. Since then hes been playing at being a superhero in town. Well actually a few towns over on weekends (when he doesnt have homework or a date) but hes learning and trying. His costume if you call it that is pretty pathetic though. Dad was a cop; dad had body armor. Said body armor got liberated and gets changed under the effects of Crysis powers. Its kind of lame until Crysis mods it using his Fabricate / Insta-Change power; then its a lot better. Oddly enough his dad is glad for his accident in the mountains, mainly because ever since then hes noticed his sons grades growing up and hes moving like hes got a purpose in life instead of being your typical snot nosed kid.
