James Reichert We have traveled on many trips that Linda Triplett has organized and conducted. They are always first class with tremendous attention to detail. With Linda and her partner Cindy handling trips through their company Beyond Group Travel, I can once again tell my friends, Check your bags and concerns at the airport, and pick them up when you get back; they will take care of everything in between. ITINERARY

Join your fellow Vanderbilt Alumni for a festive holiday welcome cocktail reception. The high-tech London pop musical based on the Academy Award winning 1990 film transfers to Broadway. According to producers, "Ghost The Musical is a timeless fantasy about the power of love. Walking back to their apartment one night, Sam and Molly are mugged, leaving Sam murdered on a dark street. Sam is trapped as a ghost between this world and the next and unable to leave Molly who he learns is in grave danger. With the help of a phony storefront psychic, Oda Mae Brown, Sam tries to communicate with Molly in the hope of saving and protecting her." Nominated for three 2012 Tony Awards including Best Set Design of a Musical.

Saturday Evening

Nice Work if You Can Get It is a surefire recipe for a sparkling, spirited and totally intoxicating musical cocktail: take twotime Tony Award winner Matthew Broderick (The Producers) and three-time Tony nominee Kelly OHara (South Pacific), give them a songbook of the greatest American standards ever sung, stir things up with a cast of bootleggers, chorus girls, playboys and politicians, set them loose in a glorious Long Island mansion in the rip-roaring 1920s, and let the fun begin. Nominated for eight 2012 Tony Awards including Best Musical.

Sunday Matinee (Choose one of the following):

Celebrate 85 Magical Years of the Radio City Rockettes in Radio City Christmas Spectacular featuring numbers like the legendary Parade of the Wooden Soldiers, and thrill as Santa takes you on a magical ride to his workshop at the North Pole, where playful ragdolls come to life. Everyone marvels at the stunning re-enactment of the first Christmas in the Living Nativity. -orSet in New York City at the turn of the century, Newsies is the rousing tale of Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy and leader of a ragged band of teen aged "newsies," who dreams only of a better life far from the hardship of the streets. But when publishing titans Joseph Pulitzer and William Randolph Hearst raise distribution prices at the newsboys expense, Jack finds a cause to fight for and rallies newsies from across the city to strike for whats right. Nominated for eight 2012 Tony Awards including Best Musical.

Join your fellow Vanderbilt Alumni for a farewell cocktail reception and dinner at a popular New York restaurant.

Optional Neue Galerie private before-hours guided tour Friday morning Adults $45, Seniors (Ages 65+) $35 Visit this Museum gem when the galleries are closed to the public! Neue Galerie New York is a museum devoted to early twentieth-century German and Austrian art and design, displayed on two exhibition floors. The second-floor galleries are dedicated to art from Vienna circa 1900, exploring the special relationship that existed then between the fine arts and the decorative arts. The third-floor galleries feature German art representing various movements of the early twentieth century. Neue Galerie New York was conceived by two men who enjoyed a close friendship over a period of nearly thirty years: art dealer and museum exhibition organizer Serge Sabarsky and businessman, philanthropist, and art collector Ronald S. Lauder. Sabarsky and Lauder shared a passionate commitment to Modern German and Austrian art, and dreamed of opening a museum to showcase the finest examples of this work. After Sabarsky died in 1996, Lauder carried on the vision of creating Neue Galerie New York as a tribute to his friend. Transportation included. Minimum of 10 participants required. Downtown Manhattan TourSaturday morning ($35 per person) This tour will be conducted by one of New Yorks finest licensed tour guides. Visit the Winter Garden, destroyed by the collapse of the World Trade Center, it has been restored to its original beauty and has become a major symbol of New Yorks recovery after 9/11.
