2012 Product Overview

The Envirofit Way
We believe the right clean energy products put in the hands of people in emerging markets can change the world. Those products must be affordable, durable and desirable. This can only be done by combining advanced engineering, flexible manufacturing, and modern product design strategies. Creation of local jobs and helping local entrepreneurs develop their businesses. Thats what we do.

Our Cookstoves
Our cookstoves are beautifully engineered to meet the environmental needs of our planet and the desires of families around the world. Uniting combustion science and cutting edge product design, we create highly efficient, clean burning cookstoves that are as durable as they are beautiful. Envirofit has helped more than 300,000 families breathe healthier air and spend less time and money on fuel. And the worlds forests breathe easier, too.

Our Lighting Products

We know how to create products that are at the center of indoor living. Beautiful products that people want to own and care for engineered to last. Thats why weve created Envirofit Lighting. Durable. Affordable. Desirable.

Envirofit Quality Testing Services (EQTS)

Through years of hard work, Envirofit has gained a deep understanding of what it takes to make clean and efficient cookstoves and energy products. So we have created our own engineering service business to assist household energy programs and projects around the world. We want to share our knowledge with the world.
3

Focusing on What Matters

Improving Indoor Air Quality

Everyday more than half the worlds meals are cooked with biomass. And poor combustion needlessly kills more than 2 million people each year.
4

Reducing Impact on Forest Resources

Poor wood combustion needlessly wastes half the woods energy, destroying forest resources.

Rigorous Engineering & Testing

Rigorous Engineering & Testing
A clean, efficient cookstove is a simple idea. But designing and producing hundreds of thousands of cookstoves that are both durable and affordable is very complicated. It requires the best science and technology on the planet.

We have developed new testing and modeling techniques that allow us to develop products faster to meet the changing needs of a diverse global market place.
6

Envirofit and Oak Ridge National Laboratories worked together to create a proprietary alloy which provides the lowest cost, highest performing and most durable combustion chamber ever used in a clean cookstove.

Our Stoves Lab at Colorado State University

Before a new cookstove product is ready for high volume production, we subject our prototypes to rigorous stress testing that simulates multiple lifetimes of use. We want to be the ones that find and fix problems, not our customers. To meet this challenge, we partnered with Colorado State University to create the most advanced cookstove emissions testing laboratory in the world.
7

Localized Manufacturing

We are opening a factory in Nairobi Africa with more Africa locations coming soon.
At Envirofit we are not only producing the best clean technology cookstoves in the world, we will be producing them locally within partner country regions. In 2012 Envirofit is launching local manufacturing facilities in India and Africa with our first Africa factory in Nairobi, Kenya opening in early 2012. This will give us the opportunity to produce stoves locally within market regions where we can be closer to our customers and respond quicker to market conditions. This is a monumental step in bringing jobs and quality products closer to our customers. Our plans are to continue developing manufacturing centers of excellence as our partners volumes develop. Our West Africa manufacturing center is planned to be operational in late 2012.

Supply Chain Management

Integrated Supply Chain Management

We design and manage a fully integrated supply chain to deliver superior products to customers worldwide at the lowest possible cost. We partner with excellent suppliers, distributors, and other value-add entities to achieve the scale, responsiveness, and flexibility demanded by dynamic and growing markets. Envirofit is currently achieving higher sales volumes of improved cookstove products in India and Africa than any other stove producer. Through integrated supply chain management, Envirofit is a uniquely qualified company and is successfully expanding into new global markets in Latin America and Southeast Asia.

In Country Building Options

Flexible manufacturing strategies are core to Envirofits business model. For this product, we will rely on local and regional capacity for assembly and installation of stoves, as well as the production of certain components when possible. This approach supports the government objective of creating jobs generation, while also ensuring the highest product quality. We are working with governmental partners in Honduras to support the scale up and roll out of their National Stove Program. The current goal is to produce and distribute more than half a million stoves over the next few years. We are very proud to say that Envirofit has been selected as the exclusive stove provider for this program. We are replicating this manufacturing model throughout the region.

19

3GT Turbo Wood Cookstove

3GT Turbo Wood Cookstove
The Envirofit G3T forced draft cookstove builds on the performance and efficiency of our G-3300 platform. By introducing a small amount of forced air into the combustion chamber, we can more precisely control the air to fuel ratio in the flame. This creates more complete combustion and lower emissions. The Envirofit G3T is in preproduction form currently and will be available in mid/late 2012 as consumer demand dictates.
