DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: FRONT DESK, (PARKLANE HOTEL, LAOAG CITY) - To welcome the arriving guests. - Providing information service. - Receiving and processing reservations - Filling of the arrival and departure register. - Dealing with complaints and handling them. - Communication and coordination with other departments. - Doing Check in & Check out. HOUSEKEEPING, (CABANA BEACH RESORT AND GREAT EASTERN HOTEL/ABERDEEN COURT, MAKATI CITY) - Responsible for the cleanliness of all rooms in such a way that a guest would not realize someone had just checked out of the room earlier that same morning. - Strip every linen off each bed and make each bed according to the hotel standards. - Guest rooms are meticulously cleaned and sanitized before a guest arrives. - The duties generally include cleaning all the rooms well, ensuring that all things are in their right place, cleaning the walls, watering plants, maintaining the area around the home, cleaning terraces etc. - Operates various mechanized cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, polishers, buffers, etc. - Maintain facility in a sanitary and infection-free condition through washing, cleaning and replacement of equipment and furnishings. - Requires working in damp, dusty and dirty areas. Must clean up human waste and other body fluids, as required. - Responsible for disposal of trash, waste, and other disposable materials. - Use safety precautions in all housekeeping services.

WAITER/SERVER, (PADIS POINT AND GREAT EASTERN HOTEL/ABERDEEN COURT IN QUEZON AND MAKATI CITY) - Know the menu extensively so that he/she can answer any questions the consumers may ask. - Be able to recommend something to a customer. - Take drink orders in a timely manner once the customers have been seated. Ask for appetizer orders at this time also. - Deliver drinks and ask if it's time to order, if so... - Take orders meticulously and remember which meal goes with which customer at the table. - Deliver meal in a timely manner and before leaving the table, make sure there is nothing else the customer needs - Come back at least twice to make sure that nothing else is needed. - Make sure that during the customers stay, their drinks do not get less than half full. - Clear plates away when it is clear that the customer is finished. - Recommend desserts and/or after-dinner drinks. - Bring the check when it is apparent that the diners are finished and ALWAYS put the check in the middle of the table, never to a single person. - Thank the dinners for their stay and ask for feedback on the meal.
