Before the tournament starts, Bowlers will be grouped as follows

Tournament format: singles event with handicap Groups MONSERRATE (average over 180) GUADALUPE (average higher than 160 to 180) CANDELARIA (average equal to or less than 160)
QUALIFYING SERIES All Bowlers will play 4 series of 3 games each. The highest sum of 2 of the 4 series, will be taken in account for the top eight. ADDITIONAL SERIES All Bowlers can choose to play the additional series (of 3 games each) that they consider necessaries to qualify. Bowlers will qualify as follows: MONDAY AND TUESDAY* WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY* FRIDAY SATURDAY (RE-ENTRIES) : 3 BEST BOWLERS : 3 BEST BOWLERS : 2 BEST BOWLERS : 8 BEST BOWLERS

In each squad, two (2) games will be played starting from zero with the corresponding handicap and the sum of the two re-entries will be taken. ROUND OF 16 The sixteen (16) qualifying bowlers of each group will play three games starting from zero. The top 8 scores will advance to the next round. ROUND OF 8 The eight (8) qualifying bowlers of each group will play three games with the corresponding handicap and with the cumulative score of the Round of 16, advancing to the next round the best 4 cumulative scores. SEMI FINAL Based on the score obtained in the round of 8, the 1st will face 4th and 2nd will face 3th in each group, with the corresponding handicap, winning who wins 2 of 3 games. FINAL Previous group losers will bowl to dene 3rd. and 4th place. Winners will dene 2nd. and 1st. place, winning who wins 2 of 3 games. TIES In the qualifying round, in additional series, in seminal, and nal re-entries, the position will be dened as follows: a. Bowlers with the lowest handicap. B. Highest score obtained in the last game including handicap. For the series, the highest score obtained in the last game of the series used by the bowler to qualify. c. If the ties remains, the highest game of the respective round. d.If the ties remains, the lowest difference between the highest and the lowest game obtained by each Bowler in the respective round. e. In case of a tie in the Final, one ball roll off will dene, and so on.

To conform the groups, the highest average between Colombian Bowling Federation, the respective league average or "Ciudad de Bogot" scores of 2009, 2010 and 2011 will be taken into account. For those Bowlers with out register average, the Technical Committee of the tournament will evaluate the group to which the bowler belongs and its handicap. Guadalupe and Candelaria 2011 champions will advance to the next group.

Handicaps will be rounded up to the nearest digit. Actual and Former Colombian Elite Team members, male and female, from 2009 to 2012, will not have handicap at all.

RE-ENTRIES SQUADS FOR THE THREE GROUPS. Bowlers not qualifying in the rst cut, can play re-entries as many times as they need to qualify. 16 Re-entries will be played in 4 groups of 4 re-entries each, qualifying 2 bowlers in each group, with the sum of the two best re-entries, since 7:00 a.m. In order to qualify in each group, bowlers must play at least one re-entry in the group they want to qualify, and this result may be added to the best re-entry of the previous groups.

Additional prizes: Only for Bowlers who did not obtain any prize.

Will reward all perfect games (300) as follows: 1. Bonus in the amount of US$100. 2. Bonus in the amount of US$200, if the bowler uses "Columbia", "Ebonite", "Hammer", and/or "Track" ball.
