English PMR - Novel How I Met Myself (Zone: Selangor, W.P Kuala Lumpur, W.P Putrajaya.

Negeri Sembilan, Melaka) SYNOPSIS The novel revolves around John Taylor who is a British expatriate working in Hungary as a computer programmer. He is married to Andrea, a Hungarian language teacher and has a daughter named Kati. His problem starts on the evening of 18 January he is knocked down in the street by a man who is his double. This incident bothers him so much that he has recurring dreams about his meeting with that man. Eventually, he finds out that the man is his doppelganger, a ghostly double who comes to give a warning or offer advice. The doppelganger is actually a German myth. This realization marks the beginning of his quest to find out the truth. Through a series of coincidences, John embarks on a life-changing journey, fuelled by questions that push him to the brink. Who is that man? Is he really Johns doppelganger? What is the doppelganger trying to tell him? CHARACTERS John Taylor, a 34-year-old Englishman who works as a computer programmer in Budapest, Hungary. He is a stable and confident young man until he meets his doppelganger. Andrea, a young Hungarian language teacher, Johns loving wife who is observant, concern and versatile. Janos Szabo, who had a wife and baby daughter who were both killed on 18 January 1945. He is believed to be John Taylors doppelganger. Zsolt, the owner of a bar at Gergely utca. He is friendly, helpful and open to changes. Kati, daughter of John and Andrea, who was born on 16 September. Paul Harris, a close friend of John who works as a journalist. He is understanding and concern. Mrs Fischer, who is a little deaf. However, she is hospitable and sympathetic. Petra, an old friend of Andrea who is helpful.
