The Orbitarium at the Swiss Science Center visualises the earth using projectiondesign projectors projecting inside a globe structure. The ZKM in Karlsruhe, Germany, has multiple installations for projecting video art, and research data in both 2D and 3D environments, and is a reference new media centre. The Intech planetarium, in Winchester, UK, is one of Europes largest of its kind, and uses projectiondesign exclusively. The training facilities at the Air Force Research Labs in Meza, Arizona, US, features 13 projectors for a single display. The planetarium in Parc du Futuroscope in Paris, France, uses projectiondesign exclusively throughout. Be it military training, simulation, or surveillance applications, in the Hollywood film industry, in very high profile visitor attraction displays, or in medical research facilities and hospitals each projector is built using the same process, and specifically for each single customer and installation. Integrated into the process is our customer centric mind-set with education and knowledge transfer as central key points. Each projector is rigorously tested and verified. Each projectors test data and characteristics are stored in a central database, so we can match and find any one projectors performance at any given time later.
