Part One: YOUR Epistemological World Views Summarize here your ndings (even if tentative!) about your philosophies of knowledge: Absolutist, Relativist, or Rationalist? Domains Natural Science Item #s 1, 5, 14 YOUR Philo of K Rationalist Brief Reason + Remarks I think that science is everchanging. Better, more detailed research comes out, but it doesnt mean all else is wrong. I believe that the social sciences depend on the society in question. Things are very different among different societies. I think that although people are entitled to their own opinions, some have more sophisticated tastes and views. I believe that there is a right thing and a wrong thing. I believe that everyones religion has a chance to be right. I of course solely believe in Christianity.

Part Three: AUTHORITY and/or EVIDENCE/ARGUMENT When you justify claims, how much do you actually rely on External Authority and Direct Evidence for every domain? Assign a percentage to each one per domain (Just make an estimate, so NO decimal points--e.g., 25.2321%!). Make sure both total 100%. I trust the scientic community completely. History cannot be completely found out. There will always be biases based on ideologies and nationalities, but rst hand untainted solid evidence is hard to come by. We must use our own opinions when judging art, but it is also important to validate how relevant and sophisticated these opinions are to make sure we arent biased. What we know is originally taught by authority gures. However, we must eventually come to our own beliefs about what is right and wrong. The Bible is the main authority for Christianity and I believe that it is enough to trust in its teachings rather than look for proofs that are not there.

Why do you think there is no OPINION in Part Three? One persons own opinion is not enough to justify a claim. There must be an authority gure or some sort of evidence in order to fully explain a claim.
