The bar graph shows the types of television programmes preferred by Form 3 Merah students of SMK Kampung Pandan. Drama series are preferred by the girls, compared to the boys. Only one male student chose the drama series as his preference. Ten female students enjoyed watching the drama series. It is very obvious that boys prefer action-packed movies. About eleven male students chose to see these movies. However, it is the opposite for the girls. Only three girls liked action-packed movies. The other two choices are comedies and cartoons. In both cases, more girls preferred them, compared to the boys. Five girls, compared to three boys, chose to watch cartoons while seven girls, compared to only five boys, chose the comedies.

Jawapan: (Suggested answers) The value of courage and determination is evident in the novel Potato People. This is portrayed through the actions of Marie, a Gipsy girl. Her bravery and intelligence save Patrick and herself in times of danger. She stops Patrick from revealing their identity to the soldiers during Seans arrest. She also endures hardships as she is set on making a new life for herself in America. Even Patrick displays courage when he joins the Union Army and fights against slavery. He is soon promoted to the rank of Captain for his act of bravery. Thus, their actions highlight these values in times of suffering.
