A microscope (from the Greek: , mikrs, "small" and , skopen, "to look" or "see") is an instrument used to see objects

that are too small for the naked eye. The science of investigating small objects using such an instrument is called microscopy. Microscopic means invisible to the eye unless aided by a microscope.

A centrifuge is a piece of equipment, generally driven by an electric motor (some older models were spun by hand), that puts an object in rotation around a fixed

axis, applying a force perpendicular to the axis. The centrifuge works using the sedimentation principle, where the centripetal acceleration causes denser substances to separate out along the radial direction (the bottom of the tube). By the same token lighter objects will tend to move to the top (of the tube; in the rotating picture, move to the centre).

LAMINAR AIR FLOW CABINETS are designed for creation of abacterial dust free air space. LAMINAR AIR FLOW CABINETS are used for work with low-risk substances and materials, when protection of working material from environment is required or work with item requires a sterile working zone. Cabinets are used for equipment of local workplaces in medical, pharmaceutical and other institutes with high requirements for air cleanliness in the working zone.

An autoclave is a device used to sterilize equipment and supplies by subjecting them to high pressure saturated steam at 121 C for around 1520 minutes depending on the size of the load and the contents.[1] It was invented by Charles Chamberland in 1879,[2] although a precursor known as the steam digester was created by Denis Papin in 1679.[3] The name comes from Greek auto-, ultimately meaning self, and Latin clavis meaning key a self-locking device.[4]

Water bath is a device or a vessel for regulating the temperature of anything subjected to heat, by surrounding the vessel containing it with another vessel containing water which can be kept at a desired temperature. the point of getting a water bath is to recover with a sottheing temperture if you sore.

Excella Laboratory Shakers New Brunswick Quality For Budget-Restricted Labs Excella orbital shakers are designed for lighter workloads, with a more limited range of options. While these microprocessor-controlled shakers may not offer all the advanced features or specifications of the Innova models, they are affordably priced and offer an excellent alternative when budget constraints are an issue. A wide range of platforms and accessories is also available.

A vortex mixer is a simple device used commonly in laboratories to mix small vials of liquid. It consists of an electric motor with the drive shaft oriented vertically and attached to a cupped rubber piece mounted slightly off-center. As the motor runs the rubber piece oscillates rapidly in a circular motion. When a test tube or other appropriate container is pressed into the rubber cup (or touched to its edge) the motion is transmitted to the liquid inside and a vortex is created. Most vortex mixers have variable speed settings and can be set to run continuously, or to run only when downward pressure is applied to the rubber piece.

The thermal cycler (also known as a Thermocycler, PCR Machine or DNA Amplifier) is a laboratory apparatus used to amplify segments of DNA via the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) process.[1] The device has a thermal block with holes where tubes holding the PCR reaction mixtures can be inserted. The cycler then raises and lowers the temperature of the block in discrete, pre-programmed steps.

Cotton is a natural fiber harvested from the cotton plant. Cotton is one of the oldest fibers under human cultivation, with traces of cotton over 7,000 years old recovered from archaeological sites. Cotton is also one of the most used natural fibers in existence today, with consumers from all classes and nations wearing and using cotton in a variety of applications. Thousands of acres globally are devoted to the production of cotton, whether it be new world cotton, with longer, smoother fibers, or the shorter and coarser old world varieties.
