The young actress Marina Tsigonaki is constantly with a suitcase in hand. From Phaedra EUSTACE Photo: Theodore Markou She likes to deal with many things at the same time & escape of what she calls the greek scenery.Actress, radio producer and disc jokey,Marina Tsigonaki has also in the past had a career as a successful model, something which now does occasionally. This period she has the pleasure to work in the fourth sequel of one of the most beloved animated films of Fox:the Ice Age 4: The Continental Driftjust came out in cinemas and the young actress leads her voice to Shira,a female tiger who meets the love of her life and decides to ally with the good ones.However, this is not the first transliteration in which she took part,she also starred in last years & Oscar nominated Rio. What charms her and what incommodes her on the compilings? "There is the personal ground on which actors may develop their own approach, however,they always have to stick in the original version. More over, the compiling is not as interactive as theater is. The only stimulus that you have is what you see on the screen. Thus, in the beginning you do not know what will occur ,if for example your voice is gonna sound incongruous.But when the result comes in the end,after the mixing and exonerates your effort,you feel really beautiful. Furthermore, those films have an innocence, something which I call magical. "

In the big screen A few months ago she finished the shooting of her starring role in the feature film film The Final Pay Off,of Alexander Leondaritis along with other actors: Greg Terzakis,G.Mponstanjoglou,G.Giannopoulos etc.She already has assets in several films, many of which are international productions. Shes gonna soon participate in a Swedish production, while shes already preparing her suitcases for Spain and USA. Why does she feel the need to travel so often? "Ive lived many years in London and have generally travelled whole Europe. The job search abroad for me is no way affiliated with the crisis.On the contrary,its something Ive always seeked to do.Ive never really managed anyway to get incorporated in the Greek database. In addition Im mainly interested in the cinema. Shes occupied with music for the last 20 years as a jokey and her portfolio contains in present 35 tours and 20 music festivals. As a hostess of "Planet Ladydust broadcast at the 105,5radio station, she introduced to the greek public more than 1,000 new rock bands. It's actually very difficult for a radio station to host a show like mine," she admits and continues: "I do not intend to put any water in my wine though.Im doing something really specific in this particular broadcast and do not intend to spoil it.
