Former Governor Jeb Bush Endorses John Legg for Florida Senate
New Port Richey, Fla. Republican Candidate John Legg today announced that former Governor Jeb Bush (R-Florida) has endorsed him in his bid for the newly-drawn Senate District 17 seat. John Legg is the conservative Republican that will put Senate District 17 and Florida back on track, said former Governor Bush. Johns backgrounds in education and business have taught him that government should help, not hinder, the creation of jobs and the future success of our children. Having previously worked with him to reform our states education system, I know he is dedicated to improving his community and state and will support our Republican principles despite adversity. I endorse John Legg. Receiving the support of such a valued leader in our state is truly an honor, said Legg. Jeb believes all children can learn and has worked tirelessly to empower parents and ensure education in Florida prepares each student to achieve their dreams. Providing our children with a better education is key to our states success, and I look forward to continuing to work with the former Governor in the future to create a stronger tomorrow. Florida Senate District 17 includes parts of South Pasco and Northwest Hillsborough Counties. Legg has also been endorsed by Commissioner of Agriculture Adam Putnam (RFlorida), Senate President-designate Don Gaetz (R-Niceville), Speaker Designate Will Weatherford (R-Wesley Chapel), Senate Majority Leader Andy Gardiner (R-Orlando), Senator John Thrasher (R-St. Augustine), Senator Joe Negron (R-Stuart), Senator Jack Latvala (RClearwater), Senator Mike Fasano (R-New Port Richey), Representative Richard Corcoran (RNew Port Richey), Representative Robert C.
