Katers Journey : The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are

few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field. -Luke 10:2

September 2011
AIA staff team at Colorado State University
This month:
Especially the past month, it was amazing to experience how God provided faithfully and abundantly in ways that I could have never imagined, and for more than just my financial needs. I was hired on the 12th and was able to join the rest of the staff team on campus at that time!! Training with Meaghan started for Karen and myself I have been meeting with girls one-on-one and together with either an older athlete or one of our staff Im cultivating some vital relationship with our athletic department through opportunities like the coaches bible study Our weekly meetings are in full swing on Tuesdays and we have been studying the parables at womens night on Mondays! Im so excited to officially announce with this newsletter that I have reported to campus! Although Ive been living and going to school in Fort Collins for 2 years now, I wasn't able to report and begin my duties as an AIA intern until this month. So far it has been tremendous! Id like to introduce you to some people that I will be working closely with this year: First, our regional directors are Jeff and Nancy Prior. They oversee all of the AIA movements in the region, but they also live in town so we get to see them a bunch! Next are our full time staff families. Nate and Lisa Buxman and their four boys live in Greely, CO and are being used in amazing ways at Northern Colorado University. Over-seeing my training are Jon and Meaghan Easterhaus. They have three boys and they are not only our campus directors at CSU, but have also opened up their home to myself and the other fabulous intern, Karen Brackman. Karen moved from Ohio at the end of August and we are having a great time stepping out in faith and learning from each other and with each other.
