KATERS JOURNEY : THE HARVEST IS PLENTIFUL, BUT THE WORKERS ARE FEW. ASK THE LORD OF THE HARVEST, THEREFORE, TO SEND OUT WORKERS INTO HIS HARVEST FIELD. -LUKE 10:2

What is new this semester?...

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 2 Corinthians 5:17
There is something to be said for putting the past behind us and looking ahead to what is to come. It seems to be a natural desire for most of us, at least at some point in our lives. This is on our minds each year when we make new years resolutions to finally kick that habit, be better, do more, change something that is less than our best. The new year is a fresh start in many ways, but what I have found so refreshing in Gods word is that a new life through faith in Jesus Christ is totally free, unconditional, full of promise and just a faith-filled prayer away. God doesnt ask us to work for it, thats why its called grace. Jesus did all the work on the cross so that He can take any broken, dirty, shameful, imperfect life and create you and me new and pure in the presence of God. I can only imagine how much glory to God will be accessed in me by really letting that truth marinate in me this year. Its my biggest hope that this year I will continually believe and live by what is true of me as a new creation.

Our students were out of school for 5 weeks, but we still made good use of that time! Here are some snapshots:

ABOVE: OVER NEW YEARS WE HAD A GREAT TIME AT THE DENVER CHRISTMAS CONFERENCE (THE REGIONAL CONFERENCE FOR CRU, THE PARNT ORGANIZATION OF AIA) WITH ABOUT 1200 STUDENTS. IT WAS GREAT TO SEE SO MUCH INTEREST FROM STUDENT ATHLETES AT SCHOOLS WITHOUT AIA STAFF What were looking forward to this semester: GROWING OUR LEADERSHIP TEAM IN DEPTH AND WIDTH TO START UP A STUDENT-RUN AIA OR TO GO ON AIA SUMMER PROJECTS! ALSO CHECK OUT TEBOWING FLASH MOB ON YOUTUBE TO SEE WHAT WE DID ON 16TH STREET ON NEW YEARS EVE!
