Conducting safety training and motivation programs Monitoring of day to day safety operation viz.

Permit- to work system, housekeeping etc. Diversion planning and proper monitoring of site. Coordinating with Traffic Management for running of smooth traffic. Enforcement of SHE norms, rules, regulation, codes and laws relating to safety as envisaged by Central, State or local authorities. Proper communication from higher Management & Contractor. Advice and ensure plant safety inspection through checklist. Observe fire safety at work viz. timely maintenance of fire extinguishers and fire hydrant system etc. Investing of accidents and work injury cases. Co- ordination with external agency / consultant in the matter of safety To conduct daily Tool Box Talk meeting. Daily observation of the working area. To maintain the safe work procedures. Feedback to HOD regarding unsafe act / unsafe condition and measures thereby. Proper and systematic record keeping and safety documentation Arranging proper PPEs and motivating employees to use them

Head the Safety Department and to carryout & perform all related activities to create Safety Culture as injury free and safe place to work for all categories of people. Safety Training: On the Job Training, Tool Box Meeting, Class Room Training and Developing Training Modules for new equipment, process, and product with Technical Team to ensure safety. Conduct Safety Committee meeting, and Mock Safety drills on regular basis. Monitoring the Workplace on Industrial Hygiene and suggest the control methods. Carry out planned Safety Inspection and Risk Analysis and draw action plan. Observe the Unsafe Act and Violation of Safety Rules by personnel in the plant and to initiate action for compliance. Find out the non-conformance and suggest control measures to the respective areas and co-ordinate its implementation. Ensure and close monitoring of Work Permits System e.g. Hot Work, HT Electrical, Confined Space, Work at Height and provide the Safety measures, Develop and monitor compliance of safe work procedures, safe use of scaffolds and ladders. Co-ordinate, Assess and give Safety Clearance for plant maintenance activities.- Maintain all relevant Safety and Environmental status data for reviews. Compile and report Safety Frequency and Safety Severity rate for the plant. Project Supervision : To develop and supervise a safety plan/schedule for Civil construction, machinery erection and electrical installation/erection and to ensure that safety norms are followed

Freshers or 01 to 05 Years experience in preparation and implementation of safety plans, formats, checklists etc.., Qualification Graduate / Diploma in Fire & Safety / Health and Safety. Should have the knowledge of handling Safety Department, To maintain all records related to Safety Department. Good Knowledge in Kannada, Hindi, English. Should have the knowledge of computer. Prefer exp in Civil Construction company.
