TODAY Welcome to Cedar Church! This morning, Pastor Steve continues his sermon series called Judges - Gods Rescue through Unlikely Heroes. In the evening service, Pastor Steve preaches a sermon series called Living Out the Gospel in the Letter to the Galatians. 11:00 AM Catechism Club & Sunday Small Groups 5:30 PM Evening Service ANNOUNCEMENTS Request from Cedar Deacons - If you can assist with ushering at the beginning of services, or if you have some talents (remodeling, car repair, budget counseling) you would be willing to offer to members of our congregation, please let any of the Deacons know, so that we can call on you in the future in the Lord's service. Redeemer OP Church in Ada is sponsoring a benefit concert Saturday, July 28 at 7 pm for the Pregnancy Resource Center. The concert will feature the Baker Pasma Families & will tell the true story of beautiful baby girl named Mattea who was adopted by a family at Redeemer after being rescued at the last minute from an abortion with help of the PRC. Seeing Mattea's story & meeting her in person will help young people realize the true significance of Pro-Life ministries. The Allendale Lakeshore Pregnancy Center would like to thank you for your recent involvement with our Lifewalk Event! Thanks to your help, we were able to raise $15,000 in support of Life! From walkers, to people who pledged walkers, to volunteers who helped coordinate; we would like to say thanks to you, and praise to our Heavenly Father. You can make a difference! At least 30 volunteers are needed to mentor and guide individuals who are learning how to budget. With just a once a week commitment, you could help make a great difference in a familys financial life. If you are someone who enjoys working with numbers and people this is a fulfilling and enjoyable opportunity. Training and support always provided. Mark your calendars for a fun, festive evening as we celebrate the blessings of God to us and our children. New this year: Online auction via Miedema Auctioneering will take place in September. If you need any assistance, please ask one of our greeters for help. SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE Cedar Church strives to enjoy God through Spirit-empowered and Christ-centered worship. The Bible is sincerely loved, and we hope that you will find it opened up to you in a fresh and faithful manner each Sunday. A NURSERY is available near the entrance of the gymnasium, but children are always welcome in the worship service. COFFEE BREAK After the morning worship, please join us in the foyer for coffee and refreshments. KIDS BREAK After morning worship, all kids (pre-school thru 6th grade) are invited to remain in the gymnasium for snacks and fun songs with Mr. & Mrs. Himebook. SUNDAY SCHOOL - From 11 AM-12 PM, Cedar Church offers classes for all ages. Visitors are especially welcome to join us!
