Benifits of KKS Coding

Reliance CPG department procures the material at Organization level. Same type of material been procured for different business groups and Power Projects. By KKS Coding inventory can be tracked on the basis of specification of material at Organization level. Reusability of material will increase. Material Cannibalization will be possible accross organization. Note : KKS Coding will provide a great help at the time of OnM of Projects.

KKS Identification Type

The KKS consists of three types of identification:

THE PROCESS-RELATED IDENTIFICATION identifies installations and equipment according to their assigned task in the power plant process, THE POINT OF INSTALLATION IDENTIFICATION identifies the points of installation within an installation unit (e.g. cubicles, consoles, panels), THE LOCATION IDENTIFICATION IDENTIFIES the rooms and floors, or other installation sites, for installations and equipment in building structures
