Every suite is unique with a distinctive feel of the Raj. Antiques from various periods and photographs from the family archives create an ambience that suggests a private home rather than a hotel room. These suites have luxurious marble bathrooms and all modern amenities. The room staff is attentive but discreet. Behind the Maharanis palace lies the popular village resort that has been attracting visitors for the last twenty years. They overlook the gardens with swings, and a garden bar to unwind and relax in privacy.

DEPARTMENTAL TRAINING The Ajit Bhawan Palace has eight departments for which it undergoes departmental training from time to time. The training officer in charge sees to it that all the departments undergo training simultaneously. The departments are:1. Front Office 2. House Keeping 3. Security 4. Accounts 5. Personnel 6. Food & Beverages 7. Kitchen 8. Maintenance
1) It is Indian palace resort which provides both the facilities of heritage and resort. 2) Wide range of accommodations are provided at Ajit Bhawan palace. 3) The staff is well trained and hospitable. 4) The hotels ambience reflects rajasthani culture but the hotel is also fully equipped with modern equipments. 5) There are safaris, traditional dance and music nights and many other services.
Weaknesses: 1. The main weakness for a grand property like Ajit Bhawan is that it cant be renovated. 2. Since fully take over is not possible, so the lesse has to seek permission for any changes in the property. 3. Training cost is high as job rotation is done in every 6 months 4. Mosquitoes are also a problem in Ajit Bhawan and the management is less concerned about it. 5. Wi-Fi doesn't work properly in every area of Ajit Bhawan Palace.
Opportunities:
1. Tourism is growing in Rajasthan, the Government is also paying attention to enhance the tourism in Rajasthan. 2. The location of Ajit Bhawan Palace is good and is easily accessible to nearest Airport, station and bus stand. 3. Through online booking and reviews on internet has made it easy to approach Ajit Bhawan. 4. The lower class labor is cheap and is easily available from the near by village.
Threats:
1. There are 77 hotels in jodhpur out of which Ajit Bhawan stands at 7th place(source: trip advisor) 2. 5 star property like Taj and many other hotels give Ajit Bhawan a great competition. 3. Since the most of the income source comes from foreign tourists, the hotel is totally dependent over the number of tourists.
Findings and suggestions: a) The majority of the respondents are of the opinion that they are facing problems in communication, soft skills and technical and non-technical skills. b) The employees are in favor of getting training of their choice. c)Majority of respondents have attended training in telephonic etiquettes. d) Everybody is accepting unanimously that customer is king and we must be adapting ourselves according to the need of customer. A detailed training must be give on customer relationship management. e) Getting training is a factor of motivation among the employees. Hence, it must be made clear to the trainees when they are called upon for the attainment of training. f) Keeping in the mind 23.3% unsatisfied trainees we must give training to our employees on team building.
Conclusion
Training provided to the employees are overall satisfactory, however there are a few gaps in the training program. The essential trainings are mandatory at Ajit Bhawan Palace.
