TV Appearances
The band performed its first televised performances over four nights (36 May 2000) on Newtown Salad, a show on Wellington's short-lived local TV station "Channel 7" (later renamed "WTV"). The songs, in order, were "Bowie", "Ladies of the World", "Petrov, Yelyena and Me", and "Hotties". They were featured on Australia's ABC TV in the show Stand Up. In June 2007, the band performed on the Late Show with David Letterman and were also interviewed by Terry Gross on the NPR radio show Fresh Air.

On 24 October 2007, Flight of the Conchords appeared as the musical guests on Late Night with Conan O'Brien.
The duo guest starred as a pair of camp counsellors in "Elementary School Musical", the season premiere of the 22nd season of The Simpsons, which aired 26 September 2010. The duo starred in a television series for HBO, titled Flight of the Conchords, which premiered in the United States in June 2007. The series simultaneously premiered in Canada on The Movie Network and Movie Central, and was also shown on The Comedy Network. The second season of Flight of the Conchords started on HBO on 18 January 2009. The first episode of the second season premiered online on Funny or Die a few weeks early on 17 December 2008. Both Bret and Jemaine, alongside Rhys Darby, appeared in a horror comedy titled Diagnosis: Death, though not as Flight of the Conchords. The film was released on 3 August 2009. They have also each appeared in several films without the other: Jemaine: Men in Black 3, Eagle vs Shark; Bret: The Muppets (film), Lord of the Rings film trilogy, Two Little Boys (film). Bret has also been cast in the upcoming 'The Hobbit' movies.

Merchandise
The duo have released many pieces of Merchandise to the public, such as Albums, Posters and T-Shirts. A shirt quoting Not Australian was released after series one. This is because in of the episodes, Jemaine and Bret were racially neglected by a fruit stool owner, because he though they were Aussies.

2002 World Folk Tour

After finishing series 2 of their award winning television programme, the Duo released one of their songs from the show. Pencils in the wind was featured in episode 4/6. It was also included in the album I told you I was freaky

2007 The distant future

Despite the duo having five different albums, they have never released a music video for any of the songs. If there was to be anything that was considered remotely near a video, it would probably be the parts of the television series in which they sing. Websites such as VEVO have not found any videos for their songs and neither have music channels such as MTV.
