VISION
A vivid mental image Intelligent foresight The ability to enhance visual images of things or events Imagination The ability to visualize something that you own. Its your own personal property The act or power of creating something new
Creativity
Cognitive activity resulting in a new way of viewing problems and situations The ability to think and approach a problem in an original and flexible way The ability to bring something new into existence The process of producing something that is both original and valuable
There have been many theoretical discussions of how problems are solved creatively These approaches to using creativity can be summarized in several ways: The Structural The Inspirational The Situational
The proponents of Inspirational methods of creativity face the danger of the dilettante:
Those espousing the Situational approach often fall prey to the weaknesses of committees
