Tech Mahindra

Below we can discuss in depth on the recruitment processes.

Stage 1: Written Test One can expect around 100 questions with duration around 1 hour. Logical reasoning and Quantitative aptitude will account of most of the questions with nearly 60% weightage given to these two sections. Remaining questions would be from English. This may include conventional sections like synonyms, antonyms, reading comprehension etc.

Stage 2: Technical Interview

Unlike most other companies, there can be two rounds of technical interview. First round would generally be an easier one with least or no elimination. You would be questioned on basic stuff.

However the second round would be a difficult one with you being grilled on your areas of interest/strength, your stream of study etc. Significant elimination is expected in this round. Mainly they will concentrate on your academic project and your technical skills mainly which u have mentioned in your resume. Stage 3: HR Interview HR round would be a simpler one with basic questions assessing your qualities to fit into the organization. Least elimination is expected in this round. They will concentrate on your communication skills and your behavior as well as attitude.

(However there could be variations in this distribution) Stage 2: Group Discussion

GDs would be conducted among a group of around 10 to 15 candidates per batch. Communication and leadership skills would be tested. Generally the elimination would be around 50% in this round. (GDs may be skipped in some placement drives.)

Stage 3: Technical Interview This is an usual stage like most other companies where you will be grilled on your course subjects, areas of interest, basic programming concepts etc. While there is no hard and fast rule regarding subject matter of the questions, its good to stay prepared (at least revise basics) on all probable areas.
