Lawrence Edward Page a.k.a. Larry Page was born March 26,1973 in East Lansing, Michigan, USA. He holds a Bachelor of Science in computer engineering from the University of Michigan with honors and a Masters of Science in computer science from Stanford University. His parents were Software engineers, and his house was usually a mess, with computers and Popular Science magazines all over the place. His attraction to computers started when he was 6 years old. He became the "first kid in his elementary school to turn in an assignment from a word processor. His older brother also taught him to take things apart and before long he was taking "everything in his house apart to see how it worked"

Googles Philanthropic Arm - Google.org, focuses on climate change and global issues of poverty and public heath. The company through an online poll selects non-profit initiatives to receive $10 million in Google.org donations Larry is Committed towards Environmentally Sustainable Technology and therefore Google has the largest solar power capacity of any corporate campus in the United States. Even the grounds of its green campus are grazed by a flock of goats.
