In case single Vacuum pumps (liquid ring vacuum pumps, rotary vane vacuum pumps) are not suited for a certain process due to their pumping speed and / or their ultimate vacuum, a combination with roots pumps can be used. These Vacuum Pumping Units consist of roots vacuum pump as fore-pump and rotary vane pump or liquid ring pump as backing pump. The fore-pump picks up oil necessary for its lubrication from the backing pump. The exhaust from the fore - pump is connected to the suction side of the backing pump thereby giving advantage of high pumping speed at higher vacuum. These units are highly energy efficient and consume less power than conventional single vacuum pumps. These pumping units are of compact design and mounted on base frames ready for use. When the transformer oil is used as working liquid (it is called oil ring vacuum pump), the suction pressure can reach 6.7mbar (absolute pressure) (99.3% vacuum degree), so it can fully replace reciprocating vacuum pump. Roots vacuum pump series

The series ZJP roots vacuum pump is with overflow valve. The figure-of-eight rotors are counter-rotating at a constant speed inside the pump housing for suction and exhaust of gas. Two rotors are supported by two bearings and synchronized by a pair of gear, which ensure these two rotors in certain relative positions. They are near to one anther and to the housing without actual contacting ,so lubrication is unnecessary in the working housing. The carefully balance operating parts and high precision bevel wheels ensure the pump be operated stably and continuously under the condition of high-pressure difference. Dynamic seal part use our patent technology and imported oil seals.The vibration of shaft at the shaft seals is controlled to less than 0.02mm against oil leaking. A gravity valve is installed between the suction and exhaust part of the pump. The function of the gravity valve is as follows,when the pressure difference between the suction and exhaust part is over the weight of the valve, the valve opens automatically,which makes the pressure difference always keep in a fixed controllable valve,This valve is the allowable highest pressure difference to ensure the pump work normally and so that in fact, the roots vacuum pump with overflow valve is a kind of overload self-protective pump. Series ZJP roots vacuum pump with overflow valve has substantially higher speed at relatively lower inlet pressure and it is possessed overload selfprtotecive function . The Pump is machined by CNC manufacturing center. "O" rings are used for sealing the pump body, two sidecovers and two end covers. All parts of pump have good compatibility, so the overhaulis very easy. The pump can't be operated in dividually and should be used in connection with backing vacuum pump. The screw pump, oil seal pump and water ring pump are all suitable as backing pump for Roots pump.
