Types of Animation
Main Types of Animation:
Stop motion animation Clay animation Computer animation
Technique:
Traditionally a movie film camera was started and stopped, one frame at a time. While the camera was stopped an animator would adjust the object . The camera would film another frame - this would continue until all the animation was filmed.
Clay Animation
Clay Animation
Clay animation is also considered as a type of stopmotion animation.
Clay Animation
Definition:

Clay animation
Technique:
roll balls or coils and then flatten them into the forms. Combine the forms and smooth the seams with a craft stick or modeling tool. to keep the background simple.

Process Of Animation
Process of Animation
It is a process during which we produce an animated film or animated segment for a live-action film. This may include directing the character design, background animation, and any other aspect of animation.
Process Of Animation
Creating Animation:
There are four major parts to make an animation Development of ideas and story Sketching and drawing Putting it all together Edition
Process of Animation
The first step in the process of animation is to make the storyboard. The panel or series of panels of rough sketches outlining the scene sequence and major changes of action or plot in a production to be is known as storyboard.
Step 1:
storyboard
Process of Animation
Story board:
A storyboard is made, all the animators and directors come together to discuss the entire film. The storyboards are presented as the story
Once the story is laid out, the dialogue is recorded. After the dialogue is recorded, the animators can make rough sketches of just the characters. Usually these drawings are quite messy, there is still no color, or background

Step 3:
Process of Animation
Once the entire film has been drawn on paper, the animation drawings go to the inking Department.
There, the inkers copy the animation drawings on to a clear celluloid acetate, sometimes called a Cel.
Process of Animation
Step 4:
After the outline of the characters has been made, the unfinished Cel's go to the Painting Department. Before the Animation Cels get photographed a background must be added.
Step 5:
Process of Animation
Process of Animation
In some Disney productions, the background was painted on glass (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs)
Now all the combined elements (Cel and background) can be photographed.
Process of Animation
Step 6:
After all the drawings have been filmed, the dialogue is added. Sometimes the film is edited at this step.
Process of Animation
Step 7:
The animated film is released, and the general public may view it.
