Schools in Transition
Schools under new management:
These schools will be operated by a new charter school organization beginning in the 2013-2014 school year. Any students currently enrolled at one of these schools are guaranteed a seat in that school for the 2013-2014 school year if they choose to return. Crocker Elementary School will be operated by New Orleans College Prep Academies, and will be named NOCPs Lawrence D. Crocker College Prep: A School for the Arts and Technology. H.C. Schaumburg Elementary School will be operated by ReNEW Schools, and will be named ReNEW: Schaumburg Elementary School. Mary D. Coghill Elementary School will be operated by Better Choice Foundation, and will keep its current name. Paul B. Habans Elementary School will be operated by Crescent City Schools, and will be named Paul B. Habans Charter School. Pride College Prep will be operated by ARISE Academy, and will be named Mildred Osborne Elementary.
