Aerosys-lisa : Founder’s Experience

 Mr. S.Samson Raj has experience over two decades direct sales of ventilators.
Started career as trainee Sales Representative in 1987
Been associated with the same Indian ventilator manufacturer under various
capacities handling Sales positions before becoming their promoter
 Has travelled extensively throughout Maharashtra even when there was no
awareness of ventilators in sub-urban and rural peripheries.
 He carried extensive aggressive onsite demonstrations in the hospitals in
suburban and rural areas
 The rich field experience , long association with the product, manufacturers,
technical services team and the same geographical area: Maharashtra is an
added advantage to establish a profitable business ahead.

The Vision
Aerosys-lisa is the future company providing solutions to the hospitals with

interests in managing a critical or trauma patients : solutions in artificial respiration

equipments and allied life saving electronic equipments for Emergency, Trauma,

Intensive and Critical Care Units in suburban areas.

Aerosys-lisa will promote and place the respirators in the cities and towns where

there are no respirators and will encourage the related medical professionals to

equip their hospital with respirator and allied life saving equipments so that in an

emergency if required the life saving equipments can assist the medical

professionals to Save a Life.

 The growing Indian economy: infrastructure as roadways and mass


transport systems, expanding foreign fundings and investments , and the
revolution in telephony & broadband internet has opened the market in all
sectors.

 All these contributed to better mass awareness of healthcare in


general and Critical & Trauma Care in particular.

 The awareness has created demands in smaller cities for life saving
critical care centers.

The Indian healthcare industry is expanding even as it is being transformed by


the growing demand for quality healthcare from the increasingly affluent
middleclass, the entry of large private groups, the use of advanced the
technology and equipment and the availability of insurance.

The Indian healthcare industry is expanding rapidly. The demand for healthcare
services in the country has grown from $4.8 billion in 1991 to $22.8 billion in
2001-02, indicating a compounded annual growth rate of 16 per cent.

According to a report prepared by ICRA, the current healthcare market is


estimated at Rs 1,408 billion ($30 billion), and includes pharmaceuticals,
healthcare, medical and diagnostic equipment and supplies. The share of the
private sector in healthcare spending is as high as 80 per cent.
