Coca-Cola is a carbonated soft drink.


It is often referred to simply as Coke. (a registered trademark of The Coca-Cola Company in the United States March 27,1994) The company has introduced other cola drinks under the Coke brand name, for in stance Diet Coke, Coca-Cola Cherry etc.

Background.

This advertising was found in cosmopolitan magazine.


Cosmopolitan is an international magazine for woman. Diet Coke is a sugar free soft drink. The target group of Diet Coke are health conscious consumer. The presenter is Tom Colicchino, an American celebrity chef.

Good Strategy
It meet specific objectives. The objective is to sell product to target group by using Tom Colicchino as a presenter to show that drinking diet coke can be stylish as the same level as Tom Colicchio and his food. Direct the advertisement at a specific audience and choose a media appropriate to a specific audience. This advertising was in woman magazine. A lot of woman cares about the food that they eat because they want to stay fit and slim which met the right target group of the product. Create a message which targets the audiences major interests/concerns. GOOD TASTE IS KNOWING HOW TO EAT RIGHT this sentence prove that distinct flavors and smart choices can commingle.

This advertising has a good creativity because; There are many studies shown that the carbonated soft drink is not good for health and a lot of sugar which cause fat. They use Tom as a presenter wearing white chef uniform to demonstrate that Diet Coke is trying to be as stylish and on the same level as Tom Colicchino and his food.

The demonstration is good. They use Tom and the Diet Coke as an object. Tom is a celebrity endorsement for the Coca-Cola Company. The logo of Dietcoke is obviously shown that it is a product of Coca-Cola company.

This CP printed Ad. is a brand advertising which almost 86 years of the development of a long-term brand identity and image and also develop a distinctive brand image for a product.

Elements of Advertising
Paid from of communication: CP has all kind of advertisement such as in broadcast media (radio, television), print media (magazine, poster, and billboard), and interactive and support media (internet) which all of this have the costs for time and space. Sponsor is identified: top left corner, top right corner, at the product, and the bottom of the advertising. Persuade or influence: which made the consumers aware of the product that even the top Japanese chef still choose and gave the top ten score for this product to guarantee the taste and quality of the product and also in the tagline that choose yellow font color in the red background which standout of other texts in white said Deliciouswith OMEGA 3 to ensure the consumers about the healthy benefit they can gain from their product. Function of Advertising
Provide product and brand information: at the bottom of the ad. told the consumers that they can buy it at Fresh Mart and other leading supermarket and also clearly show the name of the product. Provide incentives to take action (use the most): Convenience which the product can be purchase at the supermarket or CP Fresh mart near the consumers. By using the celebrity endorser which in this case is an experienced Japanese chef to guarantee the quality of the product. Provide reminders and reinforcement: remind the consumers about the name of the brand which in the clear position, remind of benefits which in this case is OMEGA 3. These same messages help reinforce the consumers decision.
