Cell Planning Process

Why Do We Add More And More Sites To Our Network ?

Capacity
To absorb new traffic added to the network. Resulted form a capacity dimensioning analysis.

Coverage
To provide coverage for the new areas. To enhance coverage for the old areas according to a new threshold. Resulted from a coverage dimensioning analysis

Quality
To solve quality problems (lack of dominance, fading.etc. ) Resulted as last action from the tuning process, with no separate dimensioning analysis.

Dimensioning isnt an isolated process !!
