CEIP D.

Avelina Cortzar SCOOL YEAR 2013-14

OUR GOLDEN CLASS RULES

CLASS: ____ P.E.

We believe that high standards of behaviour should be encouraged and expected at all times. As St Annes School is small enough for all pupils to be known to all members of staff, discipline problems can be resolved quickly and on an individual basis. We have only one school rule at D. Avelina Cortzar School and believe that if it is followed by all, in and out of school, life will be pleasant for everyone. It is:

A SPECIAL ATMOSFHERE

This involves:

WE WILL BEHAVE WITH COURTESY AND CONSIDERATION FOR OTHERS AT ALL TIMES

Try to think of other people before ourselves and attempt to understand their point of view Speak politely to everyone and use a low voice; we must remember to think before we speak and never interrupt others Never use bad language Remember that the schools reputation depends upon the way we behave IN and OUT of school Be on time for school, all lessons and appointments. It is extremely rude to be late for an appointment Attend regularly, for most people this should mean full attendance Keep our school environment clean and tidy so that it is welcoming and pleasant for all of us and visitors. (place litter in bins, care for displays of work, take care of furniture and keep walls clean) Ensure that we have high standards of dress all the time. (wearing the correct clothes and looking as smart as possible) Move sensibly, calmly and quietly around the school, never run, shout, push or be aggressive; queue quietly and in an orderly manner, enter and leave rooms sensibly and quietly; open doors for others and be prepared to help in any way you can Make it as easy as possible for everyone to learn and teachers to teach; this involves listening to the teacher and following instructions properly, trying to help others, being calm and sensible at all times, working hard, starting and ending lessons courteously, handing homework in on time and making sure all relevant equipment is in your possession for lessons Never bring chewing gum into school Take care of our possessions Always remember the magic words!

A Special Atmosphere
Visitors to our school sense something different. They focus first on our appearance, or the politeness of the pupils but eventually realise that it is the way our pupils enjoy their school experience that makes the difference.

WE KEEP OUR CLASS NEAT AND CLEAN.

WE WORK QUIETLY AND ALWAYS TRY OUR BEST.

WE LISTEN WHEN OTHERS ARE TALKING.

WE SHARE WITH OTHERS

WE ARE KIND AND RESPECT EACH OTHER.

WE TAKE TURNS

WE WALK, NOT RUN

WE PUT OUR HANDS UP TO SPEAK

WE LINE UP SENSIBLY

WE USE VOICES SOFT AND SWEET
