Influence
I admire how well both these films captured British teenage youth culture with a level of realism that made it truthful and relatable. I was inspired to make a film that captured the consequences of decisions that are made on impulse made my many teenagers in this day and age of 2013. I decided to reflect my own experiences along with other peoples experiences in this film to portray different perspectives. With my group we decided to make our target audience 15- 25 because the themes and setting of this film aims to reflect their reality.

Shocked and panicked the brothers run away from the muggers body and go home. Connor asks Jason why he did it and Jason stutters the words it was a mistake The next day the police surround the crime area as Brian is walking past on his way to school. Jason and Connor are paralysed with fear. They decided to keep quiet and make a promise to never speak on what happened the day before.

Two days later Jason and Connor get home from college. A police officer is sitting in their living room asking Brian and his mother routine questions. The police officer leaves.

Jason and Connor are now extremely paranoid.

Throughout the rest of the film the brothers suspect that they left evidence at the crime scene. the questions remains, will they get caught or get away with it. Character conflict: The second half of the film concentrates on Brians internal conflict whether to tell the police or to keep quiet. His guilt haunts him and he tries to forget it but he simply cant. Does the police catch The McCarthy brothers or do they get away with it.
