SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE

Simple Present Tense takes 2 forms: 1. VERBAL (has verb) 2. NOMINAL (has to be) Therefore; VERBAL HAS NO TO BE NOMINAL HAS NO VERB.

SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE (NOMINAL)

Present Tense has 3 (three) to be, they are: IS, AM, ARE.

VERB CHANGE
1. In general, the third person singular is formed by adding an s to the base verb. call She calls 2. Verbs ending in ss,x,ch,sh,o add es to the third person singular. dress fix watch wash go She dresses He fixes She watches T.V. She washes It goes !

3. Verbs ending in consonant + y, changes the y to i and add es Consonant + y i + es: cry cries, fly flies, terrify terrifies
