Cell Phones Cell phones are considered a classroom disturbance, any cell phone use in the classroom (rings, calls, texting, email) may result in a class wide quiz. A second offense will not be tolerated.
Tardiness Arriving late is considered a classroom disturbance. Excessive tardiness will not be tolerated.
Exams On exam day you will need a pencil (scantrons), calculator (batteries), and a student ID. If you are late, you cant take the exam.
Tips for Success: Read the chapter before class. Foreign language Come to lecture. You are responsible for missed material Review notes. Immediately after class, look over your notes. Fill in details while the topic is fresh. Work problems. Work more problems. Thenwork more problems. Form your own study groups. Exam review sessions. Free tutoring may be available. Make a commitment. Spend 2 hours per credit hour. Ask questions. If you have a question, so do others. Ask in class, during office hours or in lab.
