It

is the Lords Command To follow the example of Christ To follow the example of the early church It is being about our Fathers business It is where the heart of God is It is the secret behind the success of the early church To meet the needs of the world

 From

the onset Jesus told His disciples why he wanted them to follow Him. Matt. 4:19 During His ministry He commanded them to go out and evangelize. Mark 16:15 The final command He gave to them before ascending into Heaven was to evangelize. Matt. 28:19-20

 Jesus

made it clear that the reason He came was to seek and save that which was lost. Luke 19:10 In His teaching (Parable of the Sower) He showed that we must sow everywhere (by wayside, among rocks, among thorns and on good soil) even though we know that only those on good soil that would produce fruits. Mark 4:3-8

 After

the return of Jesus to Heaven His disciples returned to Jerusalem and prayed. Acts 1:14 On the Day of Pentecost they were filled with the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:4 As a result of their preaching they baptized 3,000 people. Acts 2:41

 Jesus

said that He must be about His Fathers business. Luke 2:49 We too must be about our fathers business which is the winning of souls It is the business of every believer to win souls. Proverbs 11:30 (Read) Dwight L. Moody said that evangelizing is the business that he was involved in.

 In

3 different parables in Luke 15 Jesus referred to the lost coin, the lost sheep and the lost son. On all three occasions the owners searched diligently until they found what was lost and it always ended in rejoicing. Luke 15:7 states that there is more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over 99 just persons.

 Historians

estimate that the early church grew by approximately 40% annually Acts 2:47 - And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. Can we say that the universal church is growing daily? Can we say that our local church is growing daily?

 Universalists

believe that all person will ultimately be saved. If we dont evangelize we may not be a universalist but we will be acting as one. John 3:16 clearly states that it is those who believe in Christ that shall be saved. John 3:18 states that those who dont believe is already condemned. Only Jesus can save this world and only Christians can evangelize the world

4:20 we cannot help speaking what we have seen and heard In 2 Cor. 5:14 Paul says For Christs love constraineth (compels us ) because we thus judge that if one died for all then were all dead. Our motivation to witness should come from the inside rather than the outside. This is called intrinsic motivation.
Acts

Cor. 4:4 - In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. What can bring light and who is the light? Psalms 119:130 John 8:12 and Matt. 5:14 2 Cor. 11:14 And no marvel for Satan himself has transformed into an angel of light

 If

all were saved the murders, crimes, terrorism, spread of AIDS and all other social problems would be solved.

33:2 -7 v2 - Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman: V3 - If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;

- Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. V5 - He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.

- But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.

- So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.

 What

is the message? What is the method? Who should evangelize? Where should we evangelize? How should we do it? What is the foundation of evangelism? What is the process?

 Jesus

is the message. The entire message of the Bible points to one direction - Christ Any method could be used but we must reason with them and persuade them to give their lives to Christ. Acts 19:8 (read) Every born again believer is called upon to evangelize We should evangelize wherever we are We should do it with love, concern and humility

 The

entire process can be found in the book of Romans First show that every person is a sinner and without Christ we are all lost.

Show that sin must be paid for.

- Jesus Christ is Gods only provision for mans sin. - Show that we must accept Christ in order to be saved. Rom. 10:9

Heart The Mouth While we cannot determine the sincerity of the persons heart we must tell them of the seriousness of their decision.

are commanded to evangelize When we evangelize we please God If we dont evangelize we are disobeying God If we dont evangelize we are responsible for the doom of those who we came in contact with Let us evangelize and please God and have people saved.
