Questionnaire Results Analysis
Questionnaire Results Analysis
Melissa Rowan
For my questionnaire I only questioned those who have an interest in the genre I have chosen, as I feel this will benefit my planning more. By doing this, I have achieved a greater insight as to what my magazine should include and why this will be effective. I also asked both qualitative and quanitive questions, to develop a deeper observation into the answers.
My Questionairre
14 12 10 8 6 4 2 0 Male Female
For my questionnaire, I asked 16 people who were interested in Hip-Hop, RnB or both questions regarding my magazine. Through the questionnaire, I discovered that 12 of the people were male, whilst only 4 were female. This may be because of the language used within the music, or just because males appreciate the Hip-Hop and RnB image more. This information has helped me, as I have gained more of an understanding as to who I am catering for and that my target audience is mainly male-based.
Gender Analysis
From this question, I found that, a majority of people would by Juicy magazine. I believe this is the case, as Juicy is aimed towards men (hence why it usually has a half-naked female on tis cover), and my target audience is mainly males. These results have pushed me to aim my magazine more towards males, however not too much as there are still females who take an interest.
Tupac
Ne-Yo
Keyshia Cole

My results illustrate that a majority of the people asked, are more interested in Tupac. This has helped me in regards to my magazine as I have grasped the concept, of what kind of image I can put on my cover. Rather than the newer and less inspirational artists, people would rather see BIG names that are the image of HipHop/RnB.
Through the results of this question, I have realised people are willing to pay a reasonable price, in return for a good, value for money magazine. This proves that the target audience are deeply interested within that genre and would rather buy a good quality magazine for more money, that a not so good magazine that sells cheap.
