ABOUT VIM
Vidyasagar institute of management was established in the year 1997. We are self financing institute and affiliated to barkatullah university Bhopal (M.P). The institute has also been granted approval under the all India council for technical education Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

INFRASTRUCTURE
Vidyasagar institute of management is constructed on 20 acres with a newly constructed double storey building having a carpet area of 16,000 sq. ft, which is an expression towards excellence.

Hostel
Vim is a residential institute, hence it is desirable for every student to stay within the campus. All the student can be accommodated on campus in well-equipped rooms in the institute hostel. The hostels have all modern amenities including a mess with multi cuisine food, TV room, common room with indoor games. The hostel has 90 rooms which can accommodate n200 boys, and a separate girls hostel has been added to the institute with ever growing infrastructure that has 33 rooms which can accomodate 90 girls.

Conference halles
The institute has six fully furnished lecture hall complexes with 10 class room. There is a separate conference room and an audiovisual room with the most modern facilities. Each classroom has the capacity to seat 64 student.

TRANNING PROGRAMME
Taking management student education beyond the classroom and into actualities of the world of business is the idea behind the training program. The business simulation game pose real life business complexities and challenge students to come up with solution, not just answer. In addition to that other activity such as weekend seminars, discussion are undertaken by regular and guest faculties.

LIBRARY
It is an invaluable resource with approximately 16,000 books to cater the needs of student and faculty members. The library subscribes a numbers. The library subscribes a number of foreign and Indian journal related to advanced managerial programs. It remains open for fairly long hour everyday for the convenience of the student. The library brings out several publication for reference purpose. Reference, reprographic, database search, articles are made available on request.

COMPUTER TRAINING PROGRAMME

Under the eminent guidance of faculty members, every i.e. from may to June (for one month), computer application training program is binge organized for every age group at the institute campus at free of cost. The main objective behind this training program is social responsibility so as to bring awareness about IT to the common main as well as financially challenged section of the society.

ADMISSION CRITERIA
M.B.A.: admission in this course is done by the entrance exam conducted by mp govt. called as MET, conducted by vayapam. the selection of the student is on the basis of entrance examination held by the madhya pradesh government i.e. by MET. The sort listed candidates have to under go:- group discussion followed by personal interviews. The selection process is very regorous so as to search for the real gold. After this the final short listed candidates are called for the counseling by the director of technical education as per there merit to take admission in the institute. At the and of the process, 60 deserving candidates are chosen. These are the best of the best games that will we polished to be jewels.
