6. Promote the locally identified alternative economic activities for barangay residents as they engage in solid waste management and care for the river.

7. Implement a broad public awareness program to help unsure the communities in the affected areas shall become properly acquainted with the importance of ecological systems, biodiversity protection and sustainable resources management concepts.

8. Provisions of necessary facilities and technical inputs for overall project planning, operation and management.

9. Develop short, medium, and long term programs intended for the restoration, rehabilitation, management and implementation strategies of all rivers in Cebu City.

10. Strictly monitor the proper implementation of the provision of this ordinance, and in any cases of violations thereto, to report to the proper regulatory body for the prosecution of these violations.
