    If you know English language you will understand the british without difficulties. It is not enough to know only English you have to study culture too.

    Traditions of Britain
    Traditions are very important for the british Left-hand transportation English breakfast is famous for it is solidity British value home and relatives British love animals Sport games-golf, cricket,polo British value pure English Language The most important holidays are Christmas and Easter

    Russian traditions
    Russians value not only official holidays but also Christmas and Easter Russians measure life according to seasons Russians value home and Motherland Russian cuisine is very varied and rich

    The most important differences


    Russians can ask personal questions to each other, But for british it is taboo. British people always change clothes for the dinner, Russians not. The British can listen to the speaker attentively, but it does not mean that they understand you.

    Do Russian and British cultures have similarities?


    There some similarities in Russian and British cultures People of these countries have interest in each others literature For example festival Pushkin in Britain, festival of Russian poetry.

    It is not enough to know only language for understanding people, it is important to know their culture
    There are some similarities in the cultures of both countries, but there are a lot of differences. It is important to study linguistic and cultural guides, the Internet, and visit other countries
