Define terms of reference/guiding principles that would
be applicable to any development/initiative proposed
for the Waterfront
Within the general guidelines of the 1999 Saint John
Waterfront Strategic Plan, actively promote and
prioritize the development of public and private
initiatives on the Waterfront
Enhance opportunities for civic pride and public
enjoyment of the Waterfront
Encourage and facilitate participation in the Waterfront
development process by the public and private sectors
(including community groups)
Mandate Of Waterfront Partnership

Facilitate availability/acquisition of key properties
located on the Waterfront, including the Coast Guard

Prepare and implement a continuing process for
