Child Labor
5.49 M (18.9%) of 29.02 M children 5-17 years
old were working children

About 2.99 M or 98.9% were in hazardous child labor

Regions with the highest incidence of hazardous child
labor were Central Luzon (10.6%), Bicol (10.2%),
Western Visayas (8.5%), Northern Mindanao (8.2%),
and Central Visayas (7.3%)

Hazardous child labor was higher among boys, w/
66.8% as compared to girls w/ 33.2%
