diseases (STD), also referred to
as sexually transmitted
infections (STI) and venereal
diseases (VD), are illnesses that
have a significant probability
of transmission between humans by
means of sexual behavior,
including vaginal intercourse, oral
sex, and anal sex.
HUMAN PAPILLOMAVIRUS
(HPV)
It is a family of viruses that can
infect the genital areas, mouth
and throat.
There are more than 40 HPV
types that cause the growth of
warts.
Complications include cervical,
genital cancers on the vulva,
vagina, penis, anus, head and
neck cancer.

CHLAMYDIA
It is an infection caused by
bacterium and is known as a
silent infection.
Affects cervix or urethra in
women
Burning sensation while
urinating
Can lead to infertility

GENITAL HERPES
Caused by the herpes simplex
virus
Causes blistery sores on and
around the genitals, rectum or
mouth
Accompanied by flu-like
symptoms such as fever, body
aches and swollen glands

GONORRHEA

Grow in the mouth, eyes, throat
and anus
